DON 2 - My Touch

Yesterday I went to enjoy the new flick in JHV multiplex at Varanasi.             "DON II"
I really enjoyed full packed action film so thought of some post release promotion.

DON II (action thriller)

CAST-

Shah Rukh Khan

Priyanka Chopra
Boman Irani

Om Puri
Lara Dutta

Kunal Kapoor

Direction-
  • Farhan Akhtar
Duration-  2 hours 30 minutes

Don (Shah Rukh Khan) is back with characteristic savior faire. This time he has monumental heist plan where he wants to steel the currency plates of the EURO from the high security vault in BERLIN.

Taking off from the climax of the previous part Don after creating mayhem in Thailand takes an unpredictable move by surrendering to hot cop ROMA (Priyanka Chopra), only to be sent to Malaysian prison. Get ready breath taking prison break sequence where our HERO escapes with another enemy or friend VARDHAN (Boman Irani).

Action is the alluring selling of FARHAN AKHTAR's film. The chases, the fights, the demolition, destruction, break-ins, escapes have all been done with such a fineness that could even challenge Hollywood.

The film does lack emotional quotient and human relationships are hardly given a chance to grow. But when you think its all sound and fury, there's a sensuous tango Roma and the Don as the cop opts to help the gangster.

A word about dialogues- BRILLIANT. A word about the music- MEDIOCRE. :-P

PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY - GATEWAY TO BETTER GOVERNMENT

A few days back I had an C.B.S.E. zonal level essay competition. I thought it would be good to participate but the topic made it a tough job for even showing up there.  The topic was -
PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY- GATEWAY TO BETTER GOVERNMENT
I tried to find an essay on it on internet a lot but all in vein. Finally I decided to write something on my own and I came up with it. So my dear readers here is what I wrote in the page given by our school.

PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY- GATEWAY TO BETTER GOVERNMENT

It is a word which cant be defined, but can be interpreted by individuals who uses it
                                    the word is DEMOCRACY.

In PARLIAMENTARY form of government there are Council Of Ministers or M.P. (Member of Parliament) who are elected from every region by their people. These M.P.s are responsible to take the voice of people to parliament. If they fail to do that then the government would become dictatorial.
The parliamentary form of government follows two party system.
Parliament Speaker
  • Ruling party
  • Opposition party
The Ruling Party is the party which wins the elections in fair method and hence controls the government directly.
                                          Where as
The Opposition Party comprises all those parties which lost to the ruling party in the elections and indirectly manipulates the government by objecting the wrong decisions taken by the ruling party.
As for example if the ruling party implies a rule that will help them to win more and more votes in the upcoming elections even if it is of no use to the public, then the opposition may oppose the change by tagging it as a promotional event for next elections. Media works in a great manner to spread the views of the opposition.

In time of national crisis like -
  • Terrorist attacks
  • War with other nations
  • Natural Disasters
  • Monetary crisis
  • Plague etc.
All the parties The Ruling and The Opposition come as one.  All the ministers share their views and tries to find solution to eradicate the problem. In such types of Democracies legislation could be passed easily. It is best for nations which are ethnically, racially and ideologically divided like INDIA. According to WORLD BANK there lower corruption in countries with parliamentary form of government.

Hence Parliamentary democracy is a gateway to better government.
